SALZBURG

Salzburg is a beautiful city, steeped in so much history and culture. It's home to the birthplace of Mozart, and is full to the brim of fairytale palaces, churches and impressive castles. The cobbled streets are lined with picturesque buildings, and the mountainous surroundings provide a beautiful backdrop. It's easily reachable by car or train from the Landhaus Bergner Alm chalet, so it's great for a day trip.

Salzburg is also a haven for the foodies among us, with streets lined with cafes, restaurants and patisseries. It is also home to the first Stiegl brewery and the famous Sacher Torte chocolate cake. You can easily spend a day meandering the quaint streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Built in 1077, the castle oozes history and culture. It stands proudly above the rooftops of Salzburg, offering incredible panoramic views of the pretty city below.
