Whether you prefer heading off to the back-country to tackle some insane peak challenges, or the more groomed on-piste tours, you'll find plenty here to keep you entertained. Across from the chalet there are multiple peaks over 2,400m that are calling out to be conquered, and the playground of the Höhe Tauern National Park is just 10 minutes away - take your pick of the peaks and enjoy!

Equally if you're new to the sport or would love to give it a go, there are loads of tours in the area that you can try. The Ronachkopf tour is an easy forested route to a local peak with views over Lake Zell.
