The Landhaus Bergner Alm chalet houses three beautifully designed holiday apartments. Each apartment is light and spacious, perfect for those breezy summer days; yet cosy and warm making them each a great little haven for curling up after a day of skiing in those snowy winter months.

The Landhaus Bergner Alm is a picturesque chalet in the Austrian Alps, in the small town of Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse. Within the chalet there are three beautifully designed and fully independent holiday apartments for rent, each with absolutely breathtaking mountain views. The town of Bruck is considered the starting point of the world famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road, on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park. It’s just 10 minutes' drive from the quaint town of Zell am See and the captivating Lake Zell. With an abundance of activities on the chalet's door-step - such as hiking, mountain-biking, swimming & skiing to name but a few - it’s the perfect base camp for your summer and winter adventures.
THE
CHALET
The chalet is quintessentially Austrian in design, with wooden balconies and features. It's south facing, so gets plenty of sun all year, and looks towards the incredible mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The chalet interiors are traditionally cosy with a trendy flair, to offer you that Austrian feeling with a stylish twist. Each apartment comes with private outdoor space, and there is a communal BBQ area for you to enjoy too.
THE
APARTMENTS
All of the apartments within the chalet are self contained, and come fully equipped to ensure you have the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. A home away from home. Our Kandl Spitze can sleep 4 people, our Edelweiss Spitze can sleep 5, and the Bergner Alm can sleep up to 8. You can rent one apartment or all, dependent on the size of your group and your required sleeping arrangements.

Irrespective of which season you'd like to embark on your adventure, you'll be spoiled for choice in how to spend your time. Refreshing summer swims in Lake Zell; crisp autumnal hikes exploring the Hohe Tauern National Park, rejuvenating spring strolls through budding meadows, or exhilarating ski tours across the Europa Sports Ski Region - there's something for everyone, any time of the year.

Is there parking at the chalet?There is free onsite parking at the chalet. However each apartment comes with an allocated amount of parking. The Edelweiss Spitze Apartment (apartment for 5 people) comes with 1 car parking space. The Kandl Spitze Apartment (apartment for 4 people) comes with 1 car parking space. The Bergner Alm Apartment (apartment for 8 people) comes with 2 car parking spaces. Requests for additional parking can be made ahead of your trip but is subject to available space and approval is at our discretion. There is a public car park about 5 minutes from the chalet that you can use if you need to bring more cars.

Is there Wifi for guests?There is Wifi at Landhaus Bergner Alm that is free for our guests to use. The Wifi details will be given to you at check-in.

Are dogs permitted at Landhaus Bergner Alm?We understand that many people want to go on holiday with their dogs and are looking for dog friendly accommodation in Austria. We therefore allow dogs in our Bergner Alm Apartment, which has a large private garden. We charge a small dog fee of €8 per dog per day. Dogs need to be approved at the stage of booking.

Is the accommodation child-friendly?All of the apartments in the Landhaus Bergner Alm are great for families with children. We can also provide high-chairs or travel cots free of charge.

Do you have bicycle rental onsite?Yes, we have bicycle rental onsite at Landhaus Bergner Alm. City bikes and mountain bikes are available. We also have helmets, bicycle baskets, and bicycle locks, as well as child seats for younger children. Take a look at the 'Cycling' section of our website for more information on cycle opportunities in the holiday region of Zell am See Kaprun and Bruck.

Is there a playground onsite?There is a trampoline at the Landhaus Bergner Alm that is free for all of our guests to use. There are also public play parks 5 minutes away from the accommodation.

Is there a BBQ at the chalet?There is a communal BBQ area that is available for all guests to use, which has a lovely seating area with mountain views. There is also a communal herd garden that guests are welcome to use.

How far away is Lake Zell?The Landhaus Bergner Alm holiday chalet is super close to Lake Zell. The lake can be reached in just 5 minutes by car. Alternatively you can cycle to the lake in about 15 minutes. We have bicycle rental onsite at the chalet too, to make this easy for you.

How close is the nearest ski gondola?Landhaus Bergner Alm is very close to the ski slopes. The Schmittenhöhe of Zell am See can be reached in less than 10 minutes, and the Maiskogel of Kaprun can be reached in about the same time. The Saalbach Hinterglemm Ski Circus be reached via a gondola connection from the Schmittenhöhe, or alternatively by car in about 20 minutes. There is also the option to travel to the ski slopes by ski bus, and the nearest ski bus is a 5 minute walk from the chalet. Using the ski bus is free in winter for our guests. Is there a pool near the accommodation?There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool in our town Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse, just a few minutes from the chalet (called Schlossbad), which has a leisure pool, a children's pool, a slide and a sports pool with lanes. What is there to do near the chalet?There are so many things to do in the holiday region Zell am See Kaprun & Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse. Whether you are looking for an action packed holiday visiting the Grossglockner High Alpine Road or Krimml Waterfall, or perhaps would rather lounge by Lake Zell, you'll find so many things to suit what you're looking for whilst on holiday. How close is the Grossglockner High Alpine Road?The Grossglockner High Alpine Road starts just 800 metres from the chalet, in the centre of Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse. What is the nearest airport?The Landhaus Bergner Alm accommodation is only 1 hour from Salzburg Airport, which can easily be reached by car or train. Innsbruck airport is 2 hours from the chalet, and Munich airport is 3 hours.

Do I need a car?A holiday at the Landhaus Bergner Alm is possible with or without a car, and getting around is incredibly easy. There is a bus stop just 100 metres from the chalet, that easily connects you to Zell am See and Kaprun in both summer and winter. There is also a train station about 8 minutes walk from the chalet, that connects you to Zell am See in just 4 minutes. Salzburg is also easily reachable by train from the chalet. As part of Sustainability Strategy, we offer a free bottle or local sources wine to any guest travelling green and without a car, so do let us know ahead of your booking if you're travelling without a car.

Where is the nearest ski gondola?It is so easy to travel to the ski slopes by ski bus. The nearest ski bus stop is just a short 5 minute walk from the chalet. Using the ski bus is free in winter for our guests.
