Autumn in Austria is breathtaking. It's a time graced with snow capped mountains; gold-tinted trees and crisp walks in the autumnal sun. At the Landhaus Bergner Alm, it's also a time for some serious DIY!
Chris and I constantly strive to offer our guests the most comfortable and enjoyable holidays we can, and look to make improvements to the apartments at any opportunity so as to ensure that they're the best that they can be - whether that's upgrading the art to give a little more style; adding extra amenities, or making the rooms so cosy you'll just want to stay curled up all day.
This autumn (armed with tea, coffee and enough sweet treats to give a dentist nightmares), we set to work on the Edelweiss Spitze Apartment. The Edelweiss Spitze Apartment is on the top floor of the chalet and sleeps up to 5 people, with rustic wooden ceilings and floors, and pretty cracking views towards the Hohe Tauern National Park. With all of its wooden features and a neutral colour scheme throughout, the Edelweiss apartment was already super cosy before we even set to work. The extra upgrades and little touches have definitely taken it up a notch though!
We've given the holiday apartment a fresh lick of paint throughout and jazzed up some of the lighting to exude a bit more alpine flair. Furniture like the coffee table and TV bank have also been updated to stylish wooden pieces, adding to the rustic ski chalet vibe. The TV is now a Smart-TV and the coffee machine is Nespresso offering delicious cups of morning brew.
We do still have some availability in this apartment this autumn and winter, so let us know if you'd like to book in to our cosy Edelweiss Spitze apartment and see the changes for yourself - we're sure you'll love it!
