Autumn is a beautiful time of year to visit the Austrian Alps, and it quite possibly rivals as our personal favourite season at the chalet. The days are pleasantly warm; the light has a golden haze, and the mountain tops are graced by a glistening dusting of snow.
It's a beautiful cross over of seasons, where you can continue to hike until your heart is content, or instead spend the morning skiing on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, just 10 minutes from the chalet. We've spent many autumnal days mixing the two - a morning carving turns on the slopes, followed by an afternoon paddle boarding on Lake Zell. Just dreamy!
To celebrate one of our favourite seasons, for the duration of November we are offering our guests a free nights' stay at the chalet.
