WINTER SALE

Our winter season got off to a cracking start this year - we had plenty of early snowfall, fresh powder on the glacier, and dustings of snow in the village. Spirits were high as we embraced the winter season with snowy open arms!

Like most places across Europe though, it was announced at the beginning of November that Austria would enter in to a second lock-down in order to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases across the country. Although cases in Austria at this point weren't crazy high, like most places they were slowly on the rise, with this second lock-down offering a proactive precautionary measure before the winter season went in to full swing.

Naturally everyone was disappointed to hear such news, including us. We've decided to stay positive though and take everything in our stride, and look forward to when we can hit the slopes again in December rather than be saddened by the fact that we can't go at this very moment. We'll be keeping busy with plenty of DIY, painting and home improvements around the chalet whilst waiting patiently for the season to start again. As the saying goes, "all good things come to those who wait".
